In 2003, Brooklyn couple Brian & Edie Himmel began whipping up lip balms in their kitchen, with the goal of combining organic, moisturizing ingredients with delicious, natural gourmet flavors.
Fast forward to 2009, and Crazy Rumors has blossomed into a busy business (no longer headquartered in the kitchen), and their newest launch, HibisKiss, is The Nature of Beauty’s first offering of tinted lip balms. Organic jojoba oil, organic shea butter, and organic olive oil top the ingredients list of these moist, soothing balms, and titanium dioxide provides natural color for those times when lipstick seems a bit much.
