rms beauty is a brand new line of pure organic make-up created by celebrity make-up artist, Rose-Marie Swift of Streeter's in New York. Her innovative natural range is not only free of harmful chemicals, but can actually heal and nourish the skin as you make yourself beautiful. Which is why it’s described as ‘skincare with mineral colour’.

It’s what goes into the products, and how they’re made, that really sets rms beauty apart. Rose-Marie explains: ‘When a raw material is processed for use in cosmetics, it typically undergoes a lengthy process. I discovered the majority of ingredients used for natural cosmetics go through a number of steps including being deodorised and heated to high temperatures. These processes render the ‘natural’ ingredients equivalent to man-made chemicals, stripping away any nutrients beneficial to skin.’

rms beauty formulates their products with raw, food grade, organic ingredients in their natural state. ‘This allows their living, healing attributes to penetrate and rejuvenate the skin,’ says Rose-Marie.

rms beauty came into being thanks to Rose-Marie’s passion to help women experience ‘healthy’ beauty. She has successfully created natural products that both preserve the integrity of women’s skin and make them look fabulous.

Why we like it

Lately, we have been alarmed at the success of so-called "natural" cosmetics that are nearly as full of synthetics as their commercial counterparts. We agree with Rose Marie Swift that chemicals have redefined beauty, and that these new "standards" are in no way worth the cost to either our bodies or our planet. That is why we were thrilled to learn about rms beauty, and even more excited once we got our hands on the products. Terri Bly, our president, had the privilege of meeting with Ms. Swift personally, and cannot say enough about this true visionary who is leading a new era of natural and organic cosmetics.

Because this line was created by a celebrity makeup artist who has been in the business for over 20 years, the products are professional-quality and already cherished by makeup artists and celebrities nationwide. Our good friend Christy Coleman raves about the "un" cover-up, Jessa Blades can't get enough of the Living Luminizer, and we think the Lip2Cheek colors blow the competition out of the water. Don't even get us started in on the simply vanilla lip balm, as words will never accurately capture its magic.
