CHOCOLATE SUN

Launched in 2001, Chocolate Sun is an all-natural, organic sunless tanning treatment unlike anything else on the market today. Recognizing the need for natural alternatives to commercial skin care and the continual quest for that healthy sun kissed, youthful appearance, Flowers Organic Skin Care Company decided to create the Chocolate Sun Organic Sunless treatment and after care products, from the ground up.

Their goal was to develop a sunless solution that could first and foremost act as a skin care treatment, made with organic, natural, and wild crafted botanicals, herbs and antioxidants. "A formulation that was protective and hydrating with the benefit of tanning the skin," says founder Susie Hatton. "Most importantly it had to be free of harsh chemicals�." With the benefit of having a sunless tanning studio up and running, they could see first hand which combination of botanicals and herbs produced the most natural looking, skin softening, tanning treatment, refining the solution and application until they came up with the ultimate formula.
